A rally in support of Ukrainian prisoners of war was held in Ljubljana

On April 11 in Ljubljana, the "Razom" association and the Ukrainian community in Slovenia held a rally in support of all Ukrainian prisoners of war, particularly the defenders of Mariupol.

Special thanks for their support go to the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Slovenia and personally to the Ambassador of Ukraine to Slovenia, Mr. Petro Beshta.

On this day, we came together to remind the world: the struggle continues not only on the front lines - it continues in the hearts of those waiting for their loved ones to return from captivity.

We reminded everyone that many of our people have been held captive for over four years. These are years of pain, uncertainty, and hope that never fades. We emphasize: every prisoner is not just a number, but someone’s life, someone’s family, someone’s story of courage.

It is particularly symbolic that on this very important day, we received the news: about 180 of our defenders have returned home as a result of an exchange. This news has become a ray of light amid anxiety and despair, a reminder that the fight for each and every one continues and is yielding results.

We continue to stand together - for those still in captivity, for those who are waiting, and for those who have already returned. We remember. We fight. We do not remain silent.
